Good morning, I hope you had a wonderful night.

This morning, I would like to talk about the importance of seeking God first, and seeking Him first thing each day.

When you seek God early in the morning or that's the first thing you do for the day, it sets the tone for the day. It is more peaceful (if you seek Him early in the morning). The Lord encourages you, gives instructions about a particular situation and reassures you that everything will be OK (if you're going through a trying time).

Let's go into what the Lord has placed on my heart to share this morning.

Q: How about we do this Bible study together? If you have the time, please go to Psalms 5. (Get your Bible(s), highlighters, pens, journal and your personal Bible study accessories). Please read each verse of Psalms 5, and note the thoughts and Revelations that the Lord has placed on your heart. Then continue to read this study

If you don't have the time, no worries, please continue reading.

What Is Bible Meditation?

The Pastor of the church that I attend, introduced the church to what he created as Bible mediation. It's a fun and exciting way of studying the Bible.

What is Bible Meditation? Bible meditation entails a group of individual coming together, selecting one verse, making note of our first thoughts about the selected verse, highlighting keywords, and from a list of 7 questions, who can either answer all 7 or select the ones that are most impactful to you, when answered.

What is a key word? A keywords is a word, that when we find out the meaning of the original language (Greek, Aramaic or Hebrew) we receive a deeper understanding of what God is trying to tell us through a verse.

List of the questions: 1. What is the meaning of this verse?
2. What is God trying to tell me?
3. What is the relevance of this verse to my salvation?
4. What is this verse or passage telling me to do?
5. How do I feel about this verse?
6. How does this verse relate to other verses I know?
7. What does this verse…

The UNKNOWN Side-Effect Of The Drug: Worry/Anxiety

6 Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].

This morning, I stared my prayer with "I'm filled with worry", that's what the Lord wanted to hear. So we went on a road trip to a familiar verse in the Bible: Philippians 4:6.

I looked up the meaning of worry in both English and the original language and the Lord gave me a different eye this time around.

The viewpoint of diving deep into Philippians 4:6 was "distraction"

This is what the Lord said to me "Be not distracted by your thoughts of worry, distress or lack of confidence in me, because it's a distraction which complexes the mind - your thought proce…

CONFIDENCE In God Isn't a One Time Thing, It Has VARIOUS Dimension

God is so AMAZING, you can't get tired of Him and you just grow to love Him More & More. This week has been "a heart week" for me. On one hand, I'm a bit embarrassed, on the other hand I'm happy that I had this trying time.

Why was this week a "heart week"?
For the past couple of weeks, I have been really overwhelmed when it comes to paying my tithe. This is very personal, a bit embarrassing and I could go on and on. One main reason why I'm sharing this is because as a vessel of Christ, who encourages others, I post about what I'm going through (In an encouraging form). So I'm ONLY sharing this as an encouragement and to prove that if you're going through what I'm about to blog about, it's OKAY, you're NOT alone & that God understands. It's because He knows your heart - the areas that needs improvement & where He's taking you... you need this "overwhelming" moment.

A bit more details...
I know I…

Are you in a DRY & UNFRUITFUL season?

Hi, I'm Sereca,  and I just want to tell you that THINGS WILL BE OKAY, THEY WILL GET BETTER. I DON'T know what you're going through but this I know: things happen for a reason, NO MATTER WHAT IT IS, HOW HARD IT IS TO BARE ... God will turn it around for you.

I was reading Psalm 73 and I would like to use this verse to encourage someone. I don't know what Spiritual upliftment you're currently in need of, but our God does and I was impressed to leave Psalm 73 with you (whoever is reading), so I pray that our God through the Holy Spirit personalize this to each reader's needs:

Psalm 73: 1-17 (ESV)
Truly God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled, my steps had nearly slipped. For I was envious of the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For they have no pangs until death; their bodies are fat and sleek. They are not in trouble as others are; they are not strick…
